In-house, or group training, is more cost efficient when you have a group of 8 or more people all needing the same type of training. An in-house training programme will be delivered at your premises or at an external training venue, which we can help you book.
Our in-house training is never an “off the shelf” solution, which means every solution is created specifically for you and in accordance with your needs. This is why we send out a short e-questionnaire with our joining instructions, use Spiral Dynamics and talk at length to line managers to determine the types of characters and personalities we will be working with.

The reason we have created this service is to keep up momentum and continue to deliver results after we have finished working with you. Our “living with excellence” programme sends ongoing reminders, items of interest, challenges and trainer engagement pieces personally addressed to the individual participants for up to a year after the training.
Wherever you are based, whether you are in the UK or Overseas, we are happy to deliver your training solution at a location of your choice.
In the UK, we regularly deliver training in London, Bristol, Newport, Cardiff, Banbury, Southampton, Solihull, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh just to name a few.
Our recent overseas assignments were delivered to participants in Ireland, Denmark, France, Germany, China, Dubai and the USA.
To ensure lots of interaction and personal attention we recommend a maximum ratio of 1 trainer to 12 participants per cohort. In our experience, we have found that performance starts to declines when this ratio starts to increase.
However, please note, these numbers are not rules, they are just guidelines. We will always do what we can to support you within your budget, and work with you to find ways to save money without reducing value and your desired outcomes from the your programme e.g., with extra-curricular training such as phone based coaching, online virtual services and a host of audio/visual-supported learning packages.
Our fee includes the following:
- Unlimited access to our time as needed to create your final service solution
- Sending out and reviewing an e-questionnaire to learn more about each individual participant
- Where appropriate, time to call each participant and their line manager to ascertain specific development objectives
For the avoidance of doubt our fee excludes:
- Standard rail and air fares
- Reasonable accommodation charges of £120 per night where possible. For London up to £140 per night. Where your organisation is able to accommodate Sareos at a residential training site you will meet these expenses within reason.
- For breakfast £15 and evening meal £25 or up to the price of the hotel table d’hote or set menu
- Mileage at 45p per mile
- Reasonable workshop materials eg., printing costs associated with workshop manuals
We do not invoice for fax, administrative work, telephone, duplication, office support or related expenses.
There are a number of variables with training, such as group size, location and materials required. As a guide you can expect to pay from £1,200 per trainer for a half day, up to £1,800 per trainer, per day.
We do offer the following discounts on our normal daily rate of:
- 10% for one referral to a decision maker stakeholder who engages us (equating to £180 per trainer, per day)
- 20% for three referrals to decision maker stakeholders who engage us (equating to £360 per trainer, per day)

We believe that if you can’t measure it, don’t do it! Therefore, together we must be able to measure your success and demonstrate a return on your investment. Before delivering your solution we will ask you what success looks like and agree qualitative and quantitative measures with you to benchmark that success, for example, in a recent assignment with The Lloyds Banking Group, the Finance Director of a local business unit confirmed he had seen a measureable 10 times return on his initial investment of £10,000.
The MD of another client confirmed he has seen employee engagement increase by c.45% across the board, together with the survey response rate increase from 34% to 75%, in a period of nine months (as determined by an independent survey, unrelated to Sareos).
